Cavalry FC 2023 Preseason Tour: Red Deer
Cavalry FC is thrilled to be heading to The Dome Red Deer for a Pre-Season Tour with our first team players. This event is an important step in our preparations for the upcoming season and a fantastic opportunity for our players to hone their skills and get into top physical shape. We also thank Kal Tire and Red Deer County for partnering with us in this event.
This camp will also serve as a chance for us to showcase our team and brand to a new demographic of youth. We’re eager to connect with and inspire the next generation of soccer players and fans, and the training camp provides us with the perfect platform to do so. By demonstrating our hard work, dedication and positive image, we hope to leave a lasting impression on the young people in attendance.
As a bonus, the training camp will also offer meet and greet opportunities for our fans and supporters. This is a unique chance for them to get up close and personal with our players, ask questions and get autographs.
Admission to the event is just $10 and all proceeds will be going towards supporting central Alberta youth soccer. By attending this event, fans will not only get a chance to see their favorite team in action, but they will also be making a positive impact on the future of the sport in their community.
In addition to the training camp and meet and greet opportunities, we will also be running a Kids Clinic for ages 8-15 with skills and drills. This is a fantastic opportunity for young players to learn from some of the best in the game. Our players and coaches will provide guidance, instruction and encouragement to these young athletes. What is the cost to participate and/or spectate?
- The registration cost will be $10 per person for all age groups. Registration is divided among spectators and youth camp participants.
- All youth participants will need to fill out a form with the information for camp participation.
- Proceeds will be donated to the Red Deer City Soccer Association and the Central Alberta Soccer Association.

What is the schedule for the Tour?
Feb 25
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Cavalry FC “ Open Training Session” – up close and personal with the Cavs 1st Team and staff
- 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Kids Clinic (ages 8-15) with skills and drills run by Cavalry FC players + staff
Feb 26
- 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Cavalry FC Match, open to the public
- 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Cavalry FC player meet & greet (autographs, photo opportunities, Q&A, etc.)
