Camp

The streets are where the best go to learn the art of football. All you need is a ball, and your mind.    That’s why Cavalry FC introduces the first EVER Street Soccer Camp this holiday season.

Show off your skills and learn from the pros at our first ever Cavalry FC Street Soccer Camp. Designed by Tommy Wheeldon Jr. for all players aged 8 -14 and run by players from the Cavalry FC roster, this is your chance to get personalized instruction from the pros!

Develop your game, learn tricks and skills, and compete in 3 v 3 tournaments! This unique street soccer camp is unlike anything you’ve seen before. Players will dribble through pylons, hit skill shots through rings and into bins and other fun challenges. All of this is inside the Equi-Plex at Spruce Meadows, on the hardwood, with music pumping and graffiti on the walls.

FAQs

This is an urban/street soccer camp. Participants will experience a schedule that includes drills, free play and a tournament, all led by Cavalry FC players.

The event has been structured by Tommy Wheeldon Jr. and the Cavalry FC coaching staff. The camp activities will be managed by Cavalry FC players and staff.

Payment and registration is facilitated online by clicking on the button below and follow the instructions to register and pay. Registration must be fully completed, along with completed waiver, for child to participate.

In the event of an emergency and you need to contact your child you can email camps@cavalryfootball.club and provide your child’s name and age and a contact number to reach your child. Only the registered parent or guardian or emergency contact can contact children at the camp.

You can provide drop off in front of the south Equi-Plex entrance but there is no parking allowed there, for any length of time. To park Lot 7 is the most convenient location and a short walk to the camp.

Please refer to the map for directions and locations of drop off and parking.  See Map

To ensure that each child’s dietary and health needs are appropriately managed, we ask all participants to bring their own lunch. Also plan for two snack breaks and bring a water bottle. There will be onsite access to refill water bottles.

Children can be dropped off at 9:15 a.m. and collected at 3:00 p.m. Note there is no early drop-off or late pick-up so it is important that parents or guardians adhere to the drop off and pick up schedule.

Participants should bring a soccer ball, lunch, refillable water bottle, and INDOOR soccer shoes or running shoes.

Yes. Participants will be grouped by age (8-10 and 11-14) and engage with all participants in their age range.

No, however please clearly outline your child’s years of competitive experience when registering so that groupings can be created with that information.

This camp is only available to the age range listed. If your child falls outside these age categories, please feel free to contact us to discuss options going forward.

VISA, American Express and MasterCard are the available payment options.

Each camp will be similar, with changes based on our coaches input. Your child is welcome to attend both camps and benefit from additional professionally designed skills sessions, free play and a 3 v 3 tournament.

The ratio will be 10:1, ensuring each participant receives direct feedback and guidance to support their personal development.

If your child has any medical needs and/or associated medication it is their responsibility to manage their treatment. In the event of an emergency, we have a trained paramedic on site who can administer medication, such as an EpiPen. It is essential that you authorize this professional to administer an EpiPen when you register your child.
