Dominick Zator: The Journey

We begin our “Journey” video series with Dominick Zator (CAN).

“Big Kick Dominick” was Cavalry FC’s fourth official signing in it’s inaugural year.

Zator was developed from the age of 11 to 18 through Calgary Foothills Soccer Club. He obtained his degree at the University of Calgary and captained their men’s soccer team whilst combining his summer seasons with the Foothills PDL team.

Zator played over 2000 minutes in 2019 and scored winning goals in both the season opener and leg two of the quarterfinal match in the 2019 Canadian Championship against the Vancouver Whitecaps. In early November Zator got the call from Head Coach of the Canadian Men’s National Team, John Herdman, and would be strapping on his cleats as part of the squad to take on the USA in the CONCACAF Nations League on November 15, 2019.
