Calgary, AB (January 9, 2024) – Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) today announced the departure of Ben Fisk.

The midfielder joined Cavalry FC in 2021 and made 65 appearances for the club. Fisk was amongst the leaders within the squad in Cavalry’s 2023 season and helped the club in clinching the regular season title through his performances on the pitch.

Native to Vancouver, Fisk requested to return to his hometown and the club reached an agreement with Vancouver FC.

His move marks the culmination of a previous transaction between Cavalry and Vancouver FC in December 2023. At the time, Cavalry sent the fifteenth overall pick in the 2024 CPL U SPORTS Draft and future considerations to Vancouver in exchange for the 10th overall draft pick. Cavalry FC selected Rodane Cato with the pick.
