The club will be overseen by Head Coach Vikram Virk, who offers immense coaching experience. Virk was recently named Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at the University of Lethbridge and acted as an Assistant Coach at both North Texas SC and Pacific FC.
“It is a massive honour and a very proud moment for me to lead the League1 side. Getting the opportunity to work within a professional club in your hometown is very special and unique. Everyone involved from players, to staff, take a lot of pride in representing the badge and we cannot wait to get going.”
The Cavalry FC U21 season will kick off on May 7, as they face fellow local side, Calgary Blizzard SC at the Calgary West Soccer Centre at 8:00pm MT.
