January 22, 2024 – Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) today announced it has re-signed midfielder Charlie Trafford to a new two-year deal with a one-year option.

 The midfielder signed with the club in 2022 and has made 55 appearances for the side since joining. As a strong presence, Trafford offers control within the midfield and is a leader amongst the squad, providing guidance and influence which helped the club clinch its 2023 league title. He has marked himself as one of the top within the squad in 2023 for duals won at 66%, and in passes completed, with 89%. Born and raised in Calgary, he now looks to continue his career with his hometown club and push to bring even more glory in 2024 as he extends his time to 2025 with an option for 2026.
