Calgary, AB (February 11, 2022) – Cavalry FC is pleased to announce the return of veteran defender Mason Trafford (CAN) to the roster for the 2022 Canadian Premier League Season.

Trafford is an original signing from the inaugural 2019 season and has made 52 appearances for the club across all competitions. He is a strong defender who brings valuable experience and leadership as vice-captain and is an influential presence in the locker room and on the field.

In the off-season, as part of his evolution in the game, Trafford recently took on a second role with the club as the Commercial Director. This leadership position on the business side of the club is one that he takes great pride in, as he manages commercial affairs and develops partnerships to contribute to the growth of the club and the sport in Calgary.
