About the Skills Centre Program
Cavalry FC’s Skill Centres are the perfect opportunity for young players aged 8-13 to gain an introduction to the sport while learning basic skills that will be crucial to their development.
Not only does the program grow ability, it also provides a strong community where players can enhance their social and playing abilities with friends who share the same passion for the beautiful game.
We partner with soccer clubs and governing bodies across Alberta to offer Skills Centre programming, with locations currently being offered in Canmore, Central Alberta, and Calgary!
Program Overview
Player Specific Skills Development Program
A 16-week program of on-field skills sessions for players aged 8-14 years focused on developing player specific skills with qualified coaches
Professional Development Seminars
4 additional sessions, which includes Sports Science, Video Analysis, Pathway/Club Program, and Player Visits!
Matchday Discounts
Participants receive a discount to Cavalry FC Home Matches
Training Gear
Participants receive a Cavalry FC branded training kit, which includes a t-shirt and shorts.
From Grassroots to Pro
Our Skills Centre programs provide the “bridge” for skill development between our camps and ID program that assist in the further development of players with potential.
